"The artist Christine Jodar distinguishes herself by her radical determination to notice impressions unaffectedly – without any evaluation. Moral principles and social ties are subject to a strong change, only the individual counts. In doing so, she deliberately leaves space for the very own interpretation and assessment of feelings she arouses in the observer. These can be perfectly different from the original intention of her work. Thus, with various interpretation we pass across not only emotional landscapes which are shown, but also through our own ones. An authentic view of our reality emerges - a reality, which we more and more try to flee from into artificial worlds in order to escape our individual feelings."
