1994 - Comeniusstreet 24 at Hanover Germany: a space challenging zeitgeist. It seems to be difficult to discover a genuine avantgarde, when scholarly descriptions you have in mind are too strong related to existing images .... It upsets to be well-informed .... What we are looking for are splashy cultural experiences?

One of these perputual questions: "Does the bourgeoisie ( or did we already? ) hinder pioneering producers of Contemporary Culture?"

Many newspapers are announcing vivaciously: that a new anti-capitalist class is borne .... Unexpectedly? We had to deal with a confronting phenomenon: globalisation? Shall producers of contemporary culture resist, and or shall they respond adequate, or:

A radical? (fundamental) question became for us - and it does not appear to be a frivolous or a boring one - whether we prefer to be be bourgeois, or processing us in other spheres of social existence?

1995: Art-Erhaltung decided to establish its own silent lets create a challenging space. Art-Erhaltung was founded during afternoon tea on 1st Sunday of December 1995, while Neville Marriner conducted with his unbounded élan Georg Philipp Teleman's overture in D Hamburger Ebb and Flood. It took some months to witness its first exhibition.
1996: To be precisely 20th April 1996, elsewhere - title of this one-woman exhibition CHEMIN BRUT - RAUHER WEG. Art-Erhaltung introduced art brut and cross-over works of self-made artist Christine Jodar in a wrapped-in Christo-like environment. At the end of the show: The most radical? (fundamental) question became to be - and it does not appear to be a frivolous or a boring one - whether we remain bourgeois, or processing us in other spheres of social existence?
